Italian Cream Soda’s are made with sweet syrups, cream, and club soda. They are delicious & festive drinks for any special occasion, even if the occasion was just a hot day working in the garden.

Italian Cream Soda’s are a family favorite at our house. We keep Torani syrups in our favorite flavors on hand and my kids get so excited when we pull them out to make these tasty treats. There are several brands of syrup that work for this recipe, not just Torani. It’s also a lot easier to find the syrups than it used to be! Your grocery store will likely have at least a few flavors in the coffee section as well as the mixed drink section. Home goods stores also tend to carry several flavors in their gourmet kitchen items sections. Locally, I buy mine at Chef Store a Restaurant supply and bulk food store.

This homemade Italian Cream Soda recipe makes super tasty sodas your family is sure to love as much as mine.

It is such a simple recipe:

Italian Soda INGREDIENTS

1 Cup Club Soda 1/2 Cup Flavored Syrup 1/4 Cup Cream 1/4 - 1/2 Cup Ice

Shasta Club Soda bottle, empty mug, and decorative dish on granite counter. Hexagonal tile backsplash in kitchen setting.

Club Soda

Put 1 cup of club soda in your glass.

A mason jar with a clear liquid, a red liquid in a measuring cup, and a tall glass jar labeled "Kilner" on a granite countertop.

Flavored Syrup

Add 1/2 cup of flavored syrup. (I used watermelon.)

Red drink in a jar, white jar of cream, and a red measuring cup on a granite counter with a hexagonal tile backsplash. Cozy kitchen vibe.

Cream

Next, add 1/4 cup of cream. I used fresh cream but you can use store-bought as well.

A jar of red juice with foam sits next to a bowl of ice on a granite countertop, against a hexagonal tile backsplash.

Ice

Finally, deposit 1/4-1/2 cup of ice into your glass. Really this is according to taste. Stir and enjoy!

Mason jar with pink drink, ice, and red striped straw on a dark granite counter. Hexagon-patterned tile wall in the background.

Italian Soda

If you have any questions or comments please place them below.
