Massage has many great benefits for stiff or healing joints. Using the right oil combinations can also benefit joint health. This massage oil recipe helps support joints and smells lovely.
Massage oil InGredients:
3oz / 6tbsp extra virgin olive oil
12 drops lemon grass essential oil
12 drops birch essential oil
12 drops white fir essential oil

These are such a great combination and they go together really easily. First I place my carrier oil in a container. In this case, I used olive oil. Then, I added my essential oils and stirred with a fork to combine them all.

Lastly, I place the oil in a dark glass bottle and tightly seal it. Amber or cobalt bottle work really well to block UV light and prevent oxidation. Too much sunlight can actually degrade the oil and alter its chemical composition.

I always try to reclose the bottle as quickly as possible after use and store it in a cool, dark location.

When using, I place a small amount into my hand and massage it into the affected joint. I use this from 1-3 times a day as long as symptoms persist.
