I love to make peach strawberry fruit leather as a healthy snack for my family. This recipe also uses up some of my home-canned peaches, so it makes me doubly happy. It is such a convenience to have these in my pantry for the kids to grab on the go. The hardest thing about this recipe is waiting for the dehydrator to do its job. This really does come together quickly.
peach strawberry fruit leather Directions:
1. Wash the berries and remove their stems with a strawberry huller or a paring knife.
Drain 2 quarts of peaches.
3. Place all fruit in a blender and blend until it is nice and smooth.
4. Prepare the dehydrator fruit leather trays by brushing them with coconut oil.
5. Dehydrate at 130 degrees for 10-12 hours.
6. Once it has thoroughly dried, cut the leather into serving-size pieces and wrap it in plastic wrap.
I then store it in an air-tight container and use it in the next 3-6 months.
